The place was Sathyam Cinemas and the occasion a grand one with numerous personalities from the Tamil Film Industry gathered together for the audio release of Jagannathan's 'Raman Thediya Seethai' starring Cheran, Pasupathy, Nithin Sathya, Vimala Raman, Gajala, Kaarthiga, Ramya Nambeesan, Karunaas and Manivannan. The guests of honor were veteran directors Balumahendra and K. Bhagayaraj, who released the first copy of the album. Set to tunes by Vidyasagar, the songs have shaped out very well toeing the lines of the script. Directors Seeman, Karu Pazhaniappan, Radha Mohan, Ameer, Vasanth, K. S. Ravikumar along with actors Bharath, Srikanth and Prakash Raj were also present during the occasion.

Raman Thediya Seethai (English: The Seethai Raman Sought) is an upcoming drama Tamil film starring Cheran, Pasupathy, Nithin Sathya in the lead male roles whilst Vimala Raman, Remya Nabeeshan, Navya Nair, Gajala and Karthika play parallel female roles. It is being directed by Jeganji and is expected to release in mid 2008.
